First you generate an SSH key pair from cPanel -> SSH/Shell Access. Copy the private key from cPanel and paste it into a text file on your Linux compute. Be sure that you replace /User/youruser/private_key with the location of your private key text file. You will be asked for a password, so make sure that you type the same password that you have created while generating your keys in cPanel. To change your password log into your account Center. Click your Primary Domain and Server Admin Password & SSH. Now click on Change password. Type in the new password and Confirm Password sections. Make sure to use a strong password. Now lick Save to finish.
